Lucie Horsch

A Dutch recorder player, and the youngest holder of the Dutch Music Award, which is the highest recognition the Dutch ministry of education gives a classical musician. She has played as a soloist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zürich and the Hong Kong Philharmonic. She commissions and plays new music, records for Decca Classics, and has won the Edison Klassiek and the Opus Klassik awards. These two concerts with Barbara Hannigan are her first with the Iceland Symphony.
