Swan Lake: Symphony of Lights is a new staging of Tchaikovsky's ballet in which the dancers wear illuminated costumes and the lighting design is at the centre. The story is the one the ballet told at its first performance, at the Bolshoi in Moscow in 1877: Prince Siegfried falls in love with Odette, a princess the sorcerer von Rothbart has turned into a swan. Harpa names neither the company nor the dancers, and does not say whether the music is played by an orchestra or recorded.
