The French bassist Nicolas Moreaux, who divides his time between Reykjavík and Paris, leads a new quartet with no piano in it. The programme is new original music and a handful of his favourite pieces by the drummer and composer Paul Motian, and without a piano the four have more room to answer one another and to improvise. Snorri Sigurðarson plays trumpet, Jóel Pálsson saxophone and Matthías MD Hemstock drums.
