Sigurður Helgi

A pianist and choral conductor who took his advanced piano examination at Tónlistarskólinn á Akureyri, the music school in the northern town, in 2004, and a bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2011, where he studied conducting, classical and rhythmic piano, and writing for film. He teaches, arranges and composes, and he taught at Söngskólinn í Reykjavík, the city's singing school, from 2018 to 2024. He has conducted Karlakór Kópavogs since 2022.
