A pianist who studied in Freiburg, taking a teaching diploma in 2004, and then in the Lied department at the Stuttgart music academy, where she took a specialist diploma in 2007. She plays for singers, performs chamber music and records for radio and on disc. She has been music director for the opera productions at Söngskólinn í Reykjavík, has toured the country introducing opera and Icelandic song to schoolchildren, and teaches at three music schools in Reykjavík.
