Bertrand Chamayou

A French pianist, and the Iceland Symphony's artist in residence. He is known for French repertoire, Ravel above all, with Liszt and Messiaen beside him, and he has recorded the whole of Ravel's piano music. He has worked with composers including Pierre Boulez, Henri Dutilleux and Thomas Adès. With this orchestra he plays both as a concerto soloist under Barbara Hannigan and beside her in chamber music.
