Voices Electrify: Birgir and Hrönn

A lunchtime concert in Salurinn with the tenor Birgir Stefánsson and the pianist Hrönn Þráinsdóttir, on the festival's theme of what a singing voice does to the room it is in. Birgir finished his master's in Malmö and has been singing at the opera house there. This winter he tours Denmark as Leander in Nielsen's Maskerade. Hrönn has accompanied most of the classical singers in Iceland at one time or another. Admission is free.
