The Small Stage

The smallest of Borgarleikhúsið's three stages, seating about two hundred. The audience sits all the way around the stage, there are balconies, and the stage itself can be arranged more than one way. The other two hold about 250 and about 546, the larger with a revolving stage and a pit for fifty players.

Borgarleikhúsið under a single shaft of light against black. Grey roof planes step up in tiers and grass covers the roof above the entrance.
