Vienna Concert

The orchestra plays its Vienna concert four times at the start of January. The programme is waltzes, polkas and galops, with arias and duets from operetta. Harpa Ósk Björnsdóttir sings soprano and holds a permanent contract at Theater Basel in Switzerland; Eggert Reginn Kjartansson sings tenor, and sang Don José in Carmen for the Icelandic Chamber Opera. Ballroom dancers take the floor in Eldborg. Christoph Koncz conducts. About two hours with an interval.
