Lyric Symphony

Alexander Zemlinsky's Lyric Symphony is heard in Iceland for the first time. The orchestra reads it as written under Mahler's influence, and it turns on regret and longing. Ólafur Kjartan Sigurðarson and Bryndís Guðjónsdóttir sing. Before it comes Schubert's eighth symphony, the Unfinished, which he left with two movements of four for reasons nobody has settled.
