In Green Hollow

In Green Hollow is a family concert about the seasons, made with Listasafn Íslands, the National Gallery, and the Reykjavík Botanic Garden. Artworks are projected while the orchestra plays. The programme runs from Vivaldi and Rimsky-Korsakov through Vaughan Williams and Kosma to Ingi T. Lárusson's Ó, blessuð vertu sumarsól, the folk song Krummi svaf í klettagjá and Miley Cyrus's Flowers. Ólafur Egill Egilsson narrates and Hjörtur Páll Eggertsson conducts. About an hour, without an interval.
