Ollikainen conducts Bruckner 5

The Icelandic-German composer Steingrímur Rohloff wrote his horn concerto at the instigation of Stefan Dohr, principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic, who plays it here for the first time in Iceland. It was first performed in Aalborg. Bruckner's fifth symphony follows the interval. Eva Ollikainen conducts, and was the orchestra's chief conductor from 2020 to 2026.
