Antonini & Avital

The mandolin is a rare solo instrument at these concerts. Avi Avital plays it in Hummel's mandolin concerto and in Bach's concerto for mandolin and recorder, where Giovanni Antonini conducts and takes the recorder part himself. The evening opens with Joseph Bologne's first symphony and closes with Mozart's Jupiter, the last symphony he wrote. About two hours with an interval.
