Glúmur Gylfason founded a children's choir at Selfosskirkja in 1988 and Stefán Þorleifsson joined him later. Margrét Bóasdóttir took over the youth choir after them, and Jörg Sondermann and Edit A. Molnár followed her, the latter running it today. Former members of the choir now come back together and sing under Margrét Bóasdóttir, with Sólveig Anna Jónsdóttir at the piano. The programme is old pieces from those years, among them Þó þú langförull legðir, Heyr himna smiður and the spiritual Go Down Moses. Nothing has been published about admission.
