Nordic song, from church to pub

Two mixed choirs share the evening, one from Reykjavík and one from Oslo. Gamle Oslo kro- og kirkekor takes its name from the pubs and the churches of the old city, and it sings sacred music and secular music from several periods, including pieces from the concert it gave for its own fortieth birthday. Söngfjelagið was founded in 2011 and is conducted by Lilja Dögg Gunnarsdóttir. Each choir sings on its own first and then they sing together, in Norwegian and in Icelandic. Admission is 2,500 krónur, paid at the door.
