Ólafur Elíasson plays a few of Johann Sebastian Bach's forty-eight preludes and fugues on the grand piano in Dómkirkjan. He has done it on Tuesday evenings since 2016, all year round, half an hour at a time. Ólafur studied with Rögnvaldur Sigurjónsson, then with Vlado Perlemuter in Paris and finally at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Admission is free.
