Odes for the Future

A family concert built out of poems written by children. Children's choirs and singers perform new and older settings by Icelandic and Nordic composers, children read their own work aloud, and their drawings are projected while the music plays. Poems and pictures can be sent in through the festival's website beforehand, and some are set to new music for the evening. The festival asks for work about the future, about dreams, nature and the climate.
