Tuuli Rähni was born in Tallinn and took her degree at the Estonian Academy of Music in 1991, and a master's in piano at the Karlsruhe conservatory after it. She worked in Kyoto for eight years and moved to Iceland in 2005, where she took her organ and cantor diploma at Tónskóli Þjóðkirkjunnar with Björn Steinar Sólbergsson, Hallgrímskirkja's own organist. She is a regular at the church's organ summer and has played in Tallinn, Lüneburg, Bremerhaven, Hannover and Hasselt, and she writes for the instrument as well. What she will play has not been announced.
