Kór Grafarvogskirkju

The parish choir, singing since the parish of Grafarvogur was founded in 1989. It sings at services and occasions in the church and at services in the Eir nursing home, and it gives two concerts of church music in an ordinary year. It runs to between twenty and thirty singers and the church's organist conducts it. About eight sing at a normal Sunday service, so not everybody comes every week, though more often than not the whole choir sings. It rehearses on Wednesday evenings. It has toured to Czechia in 1996, Italy in 1999, England in 2003, Finland in the spring of 2006, Germany in 2016, Sweden in the autumn of 2018 and Germany again in the summer of 2023.
