Kammerkór Seltjarnarneskirkju

The choir of Seltjarnarneskirkja, which sings at services and gives spring and Christmas concerts in the church. Friðrik Vignir Stefánsson, the parish organist and director of music, conducts it. It has also given café concerts in the parish hall and sung with Sinfóníuhljómsveit áhugamanna, the amateur symphony orchestra. Its Christmas programme in 2025 took five Advent and Christmas chorales in Bach's settings, one verse of each sung in German, and placed before every one of them an organ prelude from the Orgelbüchlein, the little organ book Bach wrote in Weimar.
