A lyric soprano from Skagafjörður who studied in Reykjavík, Stockholm and Oslo, taking a master's degree in 2023, and spent the following season as a Young Artist at the Norwegian National Opera. She sang Annina in La traviata and Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly there, and during her studies the Governess in The Turn of the Screw, Mimì, and Gertrude Stein in 27. New opera interests her most: she sang the Black Queen in the premiere of John Speight's Alice in Wonderland in 2021.
